Volunteers are an essential part of our organization and we could not do all we do without them. If you would like more information or would like to talk to somebody about volunteering at CHC, please feel free to telephone Samantha on 020 8208 8590 ext 203. Why Volunteer with CHC?

Support whilst Volunteering

   Minimize

  • You will receive support and guidance from the Staff member managing the project you are Volunteering on, with additional support from the Volunteer Co-ordinator

  • You will have one-to-ones with your manager, the frequency of which will depend on the number of days you are volunteering, to discuss your professional and personal development

  • The Volunteer Co-ordinator is available 5 days a week to all volunteers if the need arises

  • Volunteer Meetings are held regularly for the whole volunteer team

Training

   Minimize

  • CHC will provide training that is appropriate to your role as a volunteer

  • You will have the opportunity to undertake external training as appropriate to your role.

  • At induction you will be given details of all CHC policies and procedures, including Health and Safety

  • If there is a particular training that you would like to undertake, you can discuss it with your line manager during support and supervision.
